Next leg of our travels

Image
Tomorrow we will be heading to Boston and then up to Acadia National Park. We will be back in a couple of weeks. We didn't do much here, but we did go to the Riverwalk (man reading and walking) and the dam/waterfall. Here are a few more pics.

Croton Point Park, NY

July 16, 2022 We have been seeing Sheera every other day, which has worked out great and on the 24th our plans are to take Jaisa home (She'll be here looking for apartments.), stay with her for a few days and head up to Acadia. From there we'll come back to this nice campground for a week and then maybe go to Cape May. We already reserved Croton Point Park for the month of September and then we will head home. I had all these plans of moving to this area, but I miss CA, the weather, our friends, the activities.  I'll post some random pictures. We haven't done a whole lot of sightseeing. We know the area very well, especially the city. July 17 IT POURED and we found an annoying leak. It isn't huge but big enough that we have a pot under it.  I feel pretty good. Tired, of course, and my hip really is painful lying down.  Albert Jeff and dogs And a few thoughtful memes

Wounded people

Wounded People Hurt Others - Conflicts - Step To Health " Imagine that a child has been mistreated and has also seen how this has affected one of their parents. Without realizing it,   the child will come to believe that that behavior is “normal” and will reproduce it. Although they cry and feel  pain , in adulthood they may mistreat their partner or use violence against anyone who defies them. After all, it’s a behavior pattern they’ve seen since childhood. In the event that this type of aggression only occurs in adulthood, the person might try to act the same way in future relationships to avoid it happening to them. Inside, they think: “Better them than me”.

It is sort of a campground

July 4 We landed in Black Bear, Florida New York finally. We were here many years ago and although there is nothing here (seems like there is a legal battle) we have acres of grounds, trees and deer almost to ourselves. I want to post some pictures but, in the meantime, we will definitely have two kids in Manhattan, and we'll be able to help. In fact, Albert will be away for two weeks so I will stay with my older daughter who is going through tough medical times.  We spent yesterday with Terri and Jeff, always an easy time with best friends. We have three plans of for our life and we think the plan of our staying and living in CA with the beach and coming to NYC every three months will be it.  I am/was protesting Independence Day because that just is not happening. Not ever, not now BUT love Boston and the Esplanade. It is very  special. two random pics Jeff with the furbabies. They had such a good time running around their beautiful backyard.   BFF

We are here: 8 long days

7/3 My poor doggies have been so nervous but finally we stopped in a beautiful area. Not exactly a campground but we have full service, and it is 15 minutes away from Terri and Jeff.  It sems we have a couple of small leaks so Elliott will have to get up on the roof. But it is comfortable here all in all. We will be living in Willie for three months. My latest plan is to live in CA (I do love the weather.) and every three months come to New York for two weeks or so to see the girls. Things seem ok with them, and the next chapter of their lives is beginning.  We've spoken to the little ones a couple of times via Karen and that is working out. Elliott is picking up groceries this morning and then off to Terri and Jeff's (no pool for me) to hang and have dinner.   I have started exemestane and so far, no debilitating side effects.
