Narcissism
I don't know why there is an ad here. I do not pay nor am I paid for this site. I was a Social Worker for Head Start (MSW). This diagnosis particularly interests me because I've known a couple! A narcissist is really self-absorbent so they really don't care about anyone else but themselves . They keep on hurting people because it makes them feel good about themselves .And generally, all they want is pseudo power over others which they get after making others feel bad about themselves. Narcissists believe they are the guardians of truth and falsehood, and they have the right to punish as they see fit. Narcissists can get triggered by seemingly trivial matters. So you may not know why they’re punishing you, or even that they’re punishing you at all. Narcissists have many methods of punishment.
