We spent three months of Eliana Marie's life in California. We took 3 weeks ( Our stops were Nashville, Dallas, Austin, El Paso, San Antonio and San Diego.) and arrived the day she came home from the hospital. She is an easy, happy baby. We are so blessed. Pics of her are on my Facebook page but here are a few. We flew home after 3 months with Cloey and Zoey and are lucky they haven't banned us from all flights! just kidding. We were lucky because the flight attendants were so nice and the middle seat was empty so guess who got to sit there?!! On the way back in June we weren't so lucky. I complained to Jet Blue and got $200 back. In any case we arrived in Sacramento the night of June 5 and while taking pics and playing with Eliana the next morning I got a call that my mom had passed. I am in shock and denial and because we are back in CA, it is much easier to not really realize she is gone. We will be at Sac West for a month and then ...

IF ANYONE HAS ADDITIONAL PICTURES, PLEASE E-MAIL ME AT jolevy.com@gmail.com. We headed to CA for 5 nights. The prime reason was to go to their baby shower held at Jessica's parents' (Karen and Randy) home. Arik and Jessica bought a beautiful house in Sacramento in which we stayed. Her parents are wonderful and we look forward to "hanging out" once we get there when the baby is born. We met Dee, Karen's mom, Randy's parents and Karen and Randy's 2 sons and too many others to name. We we were recruited to help cook (YES cook! ) and had a lot of fun learning how to roll, stuff and chop! Along with the kids taking us to see ELF they also let us sit with them while Jessica had a 3D ultrasound. Those of you our age will be blown away by this technology. So meet Eliana.... Opening presents at home. CANDIDS ...

SUNDAY, JUNE 7 WOW Airlines: what do I want to say? T he flight attendants are beautiful and wear bright purple 50s suits, there was a mix up with our seats but it got resolved, plane left one hour late and totally no frills including coffee or water! We got a little sleep. Picking up our VW was easy and the car is brand new. We headed into Reykjavik, which is the capitol of Iceland. It was cold, windy and raining but we went into a few shops, had tea, and visited the Hallgrimskirkja Church, which is famous with a statue of Lief Erikson. There was a private something so we couldn't go in but we were able to see inside and were surprised at the lack of ornateness. Hallgrímskirkja If you look closely you can see a statue of Leif Erickson (famous Icelandic explorer) Believe it or not we ate at Ruby Tuesdays mostly because it was next to the apt complex in which we were staying. In any case the salad bar was a bit diffe...
