 In spite of the melanoma with which I was diagnosed I ranted and posted endlessly. 

Just writing some thoughts.... My husband has been telling me, criticizing me, concerned about me for months about my absolute disgust for maggots and the Republican party. I have said if you can find anything goid about the nutcase in the white house, don't talk to me. Well!!! It has been worth every meme, every pleading rant, everything for last night. The emotions I feel about our blue wave are as strong as my hatred for the moron.

We can and we did. Thank you to all who turned our country blue. Thank you to the 20- year olds who stood in long lines, the elderly, the people of color - black and Hispanic, the middle-class who knew voting blue was the right thing to do.  Thank you America. We have work to do but I know you can show me I can say the pledge of allegiance again. Maybe God will be taken out but there will be freedom and justice for all. Not today, not tomorrow but maybe in my lifetime. I'm so proud of the Republicans who voted their conscience although forgiving them for giving us this nasty, lying moron will take time.  We are very settled in Monroe and are considering selling Lincoln and visiting a few times a year. We talk to the little ones almost every Sunday.
